Angelo Schipilliti has more than two decades of experience in the entertainment and disc industry. Angelo starts his professional career in EMI Latin as East Coast Director or Promotions where he worked on promoting and bringing to #1 hit artist such as Thalia, Carlos Vives, Paulina Rubio, Ricardo Montaner, among many others.

 

His extensive experience in planning, production and execution of live events range from concert tours; working with top line artists in venues such as Madison Square Garden, Radio City music hall, Staple Center and American Airlines arena in Miami to name a few. To producing soccer matches approved by FIFA with over 46000 attendees. Being only the second time in AFA’s history to sign an agreement with an independent promoter and not with a federation.

 

As the National Director of Live Events USA and Puerto Rico for SBS-Entertainment he has been able to identify, plan and execute what today are record breaking concerts and events such as; Wilsyn y Yandell at the American Airlines Arena on May 30th 2008 taking the “All time record attendance for an Latin Urban show”, which would be surpass later on by the Aventura “The kings of Bachata” concert on that same year.

 

His latest triumph was Calibash 2010 on March 24th at the Staple Center of Los Angeles, California with an impressive 21 upcoming future stars of the urban music. A major productions, which turned out impeccable, was able to sold out an event of over 16,000 attendance, on a market where many though, the urban music was fading away. They were proved wrong.
